Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the bounty killers appeared…

Whoops…that’s the wrong Western!

It is sometime in the 1870s. Out in the Western territories of the United States, there sits a ramshackle town known to its inhabitants as Poison Ivy Gulch.

You probably think this is a rough-and-tumble town with crusty cowpokes like John Wayne or Sergio Leone-style bounty hunters like Clint Eastwood.

This is NOT that kind of Western. Think more of Blazing Saddles, Three Amigos and Tumbleweeds. Poison Ivy Gulch has quite an eccentric cast of characters such as a lady gambler with big…um, stakes; her adorable child sidekick; a hangman and an undertaker who enjoy their jobs (perhaps a little too much); a sleazy mayor; and many more! In the words of the immortal Billy the Kid, “What in tarnation?!”

Poison Ivy Gulch is a comedy Western comic strip distributed online (via the Internet obviously) updated twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays.
